The proposal for the salary investment of SEK 30 million for some nurses has met with reactions and the Left Party, the Center Party and the Healthcare Party are now coming up with their own proposals.

100 million

The Left Party and the Healthcare Party want to invest more than three times as much money as the majority, SEK 100 million.

- The idea is that the region in total will have a profit of SEK 50 million.

We have to use that money in this type of investment.

We also see that the regional leadership administration looks to go with a very large surplus this year and there we think that we take 50 million kronor, says the Left Party's group leader Nina Orefjärd (V).

The Healthcare Party also wants to invest SEK 100 million in hospital staff.

- The overcrowding and "corridor care" at all three counties in the county is rapidly getting worse and has already cost both serious care injuries and deaths, says the Healthcare Party's group leader in the regional council.

Therefore, both more powerful measures and efforts are needed much faster than what the region's management and the S + M + L majority propose, Robert Thunfors in a press release.

Include more

The Center Party, led by Opposition Councilor Jonny Lundin, has also filed a counter-proposal against the majority's proposal.

The Center Party wants to invest SEK 40 million, in order to be able to cover more staff in the salary increase than the approximately 500 nurses covered in the majority's proposal.
