As a result of the measures taken, six Russian citizens were detained, who are supporters of the Ukrainian extremist organization Right Sector, who were preparing to detonate an improvised explosive device in one of the Orthodox churches in the region in order to intimidate the population, ”the FSB DSO said in a statement.
It is specified that IED components were confiscated from one of the detainees, correspondence with plans and symbols of the group were also found.
Earlier, the FSB of Russia said that 14 participants in swatting online communities in a number of Russian regions were detained in the case of mass “mining” of objects in the country and neighboring states.
