Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that the Vienna negotiations have reached a sensitive and important stage, stressing that his country will not back down in the negotiations and will not cross red lines under any circumstances.

He said during a press conference with his Omani counterpart Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi in Tehran that Western countries should take a realistic approach in negotiations to settle the remaining issues.

Regarding the dialogue with the United States, Abdullahian stressed that there are no direct negotiations with Washington, and that communication takes place through unofficial messages.

He said that what matters in this is the outcome of the negotiations and what his country will get in the end.

The Iranian minister expressed his hope that all parties in the region would realize the importance of dialogue in order not to destabilize security and stability, adding that the continuation of differences would not be in the interest of the countries, security and peoples of the region.

The Iranian foreign minister said that regional security can only be achieved through joint regional cooperation and dialogue.

In this context, Abdullahian confirmed that Tehran had received a message from Baghdad about Saudi Arabia's readiness to continue dialogue with them and resolve the Yemeni crisis politically and to stop the war quickly.

On the other hand, Abdullahian expressed his country's refusal to fly the North Atlantic Treaty Organization "NATO" near the Iranian border, and said that this constitutes "a cause for concern to us."

For his part, the Omani Foreign Minister said that his country is looking forward to the visit of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi to Muscat to inaugurate a new phase of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
