The incident occurred in Piteå municipality on 20 September last year.

In the lawsuit, the prosecutor demands that the crime be assessed as serious because "the defendant's untrue information is systemic and could have led to him obtaining a driver's license on incorrect grounds", and something that in turn could have affected road safety.

Can be sentenced to a suspended sentence and a daily fine

In the evidence, there is, among other things, a witness who is said to have seen the man wearing the earphone, there is also surveillance film and still images from the occasion.

The man has in interrogation denied the crime.

In a similar case, the Supreme Court has previously ruled on a suspended sentence and a daily fine.
