The incident took place on 14 August last year in Västerås.

The police drove with a signal switched on during an emergency past a red light. He collided with a car that had a green light and came from the right at the intersection.

In connection with the incident, a boy received a fracture in his arm but no other injuries.

The injury is considered a non-minor bodily injury.

The other two passengers survived without injuries.

The police are charged primarily with negligence in traffic and secondarily with violations of the Traffic Ordinance.

The accused denies the crime.
