Yesterday, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited the Unmanned Systems Exhibition "UMEX" and the simulation and training exhibition "Simtex".
During a tour of a number of national, regional and international pavilions participating in the two exhibitions, His Highness was briefed on the latest innovations, technologies and solutions in the industries of unmanned systems, simulation, training and artificial intelligence, in addition to robots and multi-use systems in the defense and civil sectors.
His Highness met a number of heads of participating delegations and exchanged conversations with them about the importance of their participation in the exhibitions and the innovations they display.
His Highness expressed his thanks and appreciation to the organizers of the two exhibitions and their efforts in organizing them in an honorable manner that befits the status of the state, wishing all participants and exhibitors success in achieving their goals.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said in a tweet on Twitter yesterday: "I visited the (UMEX) and (Simtex) 2022 exhibition, and I was briefed by the participants on the most important unmanned systems and artificial intelligence applications in the defense and civil sectors.. We seek to strengthen Cooperation and communication between global companies in one platform to support defense capabilities and sustainable development.
His Highness praised the level and quality of the participations, which keep pace with the latest developments in the field of unmanned systems, stressing that the UAE aims, by hosting such exhibitions and global events, to strengthen cooperation and partnerships to support defense capabilities and face common challenges, based on its pivotal role in enhancing security and stability in Region.
