The vaccine pass could be canceled in mid-March, announced the Minister of Health Olivier Véran.

This eventuality pushes some French people not to receive their third dose of vaccine, even if it means having to live without a valid pass for a few weeks.

Europe 1 met a couple who have already made their decision.

Is the vaccination pass living its last days?

The Minister of Health Olivier Véran announced that it could be removed from mid-March, "if the conditions are met, that the hospital is in normal working order".

It would still be maintained a little longer in “very risky” places, such as nightclubs, until the beginning of April.

So faced with this good news, many people who were about to take their third dose of vaccine are asking themselves the question: What's the point?

Is it still really useful?

Europe 1 met, in Strasbourg, a couple who have already made their decision.

"Without hesitation, I do not plan to do it at all"

Gaëlle and Olivier, as a couple and parents of two children, are up to date with their vaccination schedule.

They both received two doses of the vaccine.

The third was scheduled for the next few weeks.

But in the end, with the probable lifting of the vaccination pass in mid-March, they will not make an appointment.

"Without hesitation, I do not plan to do it at all, I would postpone the deadline as much as possible", confides Gaëlle to Europe 1. Her spouse, Olivier, abounds on his side: "Personally, I do not see the interest. The fact that the vaccine pass will soon expire encourages me not to do the third dose."

Back to school: in Strasbourg, the joy of the light health protocol

A couple ready to live 2-3 weeks without a vaccination pass

And too bad if that means that they may find themselves for a few days without a vaccination pass.

"A week or two weeks, but beyond three weeks, I think I would crack," continues Gaëlle.

Olivier is also ready to live a few days without his pass: "It would bother me because, indeed, I like to live, go out and be able to do activities with my children, but if we are talking about a few days or a few weeks, I I'll wait so I don't have to. The world will keep turning and I'll keep living quietly."

Provided, the couple hope, that the health situation continues to improve.

These last two years have proven it: it is more prudent not to project too much.
