The majority parties S, V and M have agreed after a negotiation to propose that the tax be adjusted down by 25 öre, from the income year 2023. This is because according to the parties they have received more tax than expected and it went unexpectedly well financially for the municipality.
The tax rate would thus be changed from SEK 34.95 to SEK 34.70.
The parties also propose to allocate more resources for 2023 than the current year.
During the spring budget work, exact sums and directions must be determined.
- We have Sweden's third highest tax so it's nice that we can come down a bit and still have money for investments in the future.
We also hope to increase revenues in other ways, says Jan Nilsson (M).
