“EU officials, perhaps not without the participation of lobbyists, using the bureaucratic loopholes they themselves created under the guise of some technical adjustments, de facto expanded the sanctions against Belarus,” Glaz said.

According to him, as a result, two new legal entities were included in the sanctions package.

Earlier, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko instructed the Belarusian Foreign Ministry to strengthen work in international organizations in order to counter sanctions.

He also did not rule out provocations from Western countries to introduce additional sanctions against the republic.
