This was stated by the official representative of the German Cabinet Steffen Hebeshtreit.
According to him, during the negotiations, Scholz, Biden and Macron expressed the opinion that this step by Russia is a "clear violation of the Minsk agreements."
In this regard, they strongly condemned this decision.
“This step, according to them, will not go unanswered,” Hebeshtreit is quoted by TASS.
Earlier, the White House said that Biden would sign a decree that would ban investment, trade and financing of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics.
On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees on Russia's recognition of the independence of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
