“On February 22, talks will be held between Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who will be in Russia on an official visit,” the report says.
The parties will consider the implementation of the agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on Nagorno-Karabakh.
It is noted that following the meeting, a Declaration on allied cooperation will be signed, bringing relations between Russia and Azerbaijan to an allied level.
In December, Foreign Ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan Sergey Lavrov and Jeyhun Bayramov discussed by telephone the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and bilateral relations.
