It was shortly after 10 pm on Friday that the police were alerted to an apartment building at Rosengård in Malmö after a caller heard a loud bang.

Once in place, the police were able to establish that something had exploded at the gate.

No one was injured, but both the entrance and the stairwell suffered major material damage.

A film from the property's surveillance camera has now been posted on Youtube.

The film sequence shows how the perpetrator, wearing a hooded jacket, takes out something resembling a thermos bomb from a plastic bag and places it next to the gate, and then runs from the scene.

The film is interesting for the police

The film may now become an important part of the police's work.

- We have access to the film and it is in our investigation material.

Films are always interesting in our investigations, says Nils Norling, press spokesperson at the police.

It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.

- We are not the ones who went out with the film on Youtube, we do not dare to answer how it went right now, says Nils Norling.

Looking for more cameras in the area

The police are now actively looking for other cameras in the area that may have captured something of interest to the investigation.

They also look at possible threats against people at the address and adjacent properties.

So far, no one has been detained after the explosion.
