All the PP waited, tense, the words of Alberto Núñez Feijóo.

And, although the Galician president has maintained his proverbial ambiguity, his messages have been resounding.

The main baron asks Pablo Casado to "make decisions".

"It is essential to do it. They will not be easy, they will be complex, but they must be urgent", he assured after an act in Orense.

"These decisions," according to Feijóo, "must bring the party back together."

"We have an obligation not to create any more problems for Spain", because "neither the militants, nor the party nor Spain deserve this situation of collapse", he insisted.

Feijóo does not reveal if he would appear at an extraordinary congress: "In the party we have already given shows of talking about people, and I come to talk about the PP, not about myself."

"We have not settled the crisis and when it has not been settled in the first half, we will have to settle it in the second and definitive", he has metaphorized.

The Galician baron, whom all the others look at (they ask him to "step forward"), leaves the ball on the roof of Genoa.

"Five days ago we experienced a moment of upheaval within our party, and within Spanish democracy. We asked that [Ayuso and Casado] meet and they have met, but we would be lying if we said that this problem is settled," Feijóo has diagnosed.

"The PP is the only alternative and therefore has the obligation to urgently find a solution and continue to be the center-right benchmark."

What is that solution?

"The management will be reflecting on the solutions and times", she has said, without wanting to reveal his proposal.

Feijóo has revealed that he spoke on Sunday with the president of the PP.

"And my opinion was given to him clearly, loyally and clearly", but "it is up to him" to act.

"I'm not going to say my opinion; if he wants to reveal it, let him do it."

"Nobody else" knows it, he has underlined.

The militancy calls for the resignation of Casado

The bases of the PP are burning due to the war between Pablo Casado and Isabel Díaz Ayuso.

And the wing that opposes the president is already mobilizing to ask for his resignation and force an extraordinary congress.

Not only the majority of the regional barons and a handful of provincial presidents ask for a change.

They are also supported by supporters of the Madrid baroness, and now affiliates from all over Spain have taken action.

The militants of the PP raise a manifesto in which they demand that Casado resign, summon "urgently the members of the National Executive Committee" and designate "a provisional leadership that will take charge of the ordinary issues of the party until the holding of a congress".

"We believe that the transition period should be as short as possible. Spain does not deserve to be aware of our organic life and we must return to focus as soon as possible on what truly matters to citizens."

In the baronies they recognize that the letter is moving "a lot" throughout Spain.

And they reveal to EL MUNDO that Casado has also begun to call the regional presidents who do not govern, to propose a meeting "this week."

The most likely dates for this meeting are Wednesday and Thursday, according to four regional presidents consulted.

"He told us that he would look at agendas" to square the meeting, recognizes one of the presidents.

"He is brewing" that conclave, points out another.

The truth is that those presidents have been demanding that he call them since Friday, when Casado did call the five that govern.

The letter worries and alerts a lot in the main strongholds of the PP.

Not in vain, the bases have passed sentence in the Sigma Dos survey for EL MUNDO.

They do not want Pablo Casado to continue leading the party.

He is not his favorite leader, they blame him for the crisis that the formation is experiencing, they believe that he is much more affected than Isabel Díaz Ayuso and that Teodoro García Egea should be dismissed.
