The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that more than 53 thousand refugees from Donbass crossed the border of Russia

“By 19:00, more than 53,000 residents of two neighboring regions of Ukraine had crossed the border,” Chupriyan was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.

As noted, the refugees "were taken on 142 buses to 101 temporary accommodation points."

Alexander Chupriyan also stated that almost 30 Russian regions are ready to accept refugees from the self-proclaimed LPR and DPR.

The press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry noted that the evacuation of refugees from Donbass will be carried out around the clock.
