“We are not considering a military option for our French or European soldiers to go to Ukraine,” Bona was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.

On February 19, Ukraine received military assistance from Canada - rifles, machine guns with optical sights and equipment.

Earlier, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that the Canadian authorities had decided to provide Ukraine with lethal weapons worth about $6.1 million.

The Canadian Ministry of Defense clarified that Ukraine will be provided with rifles, machine guns, pistols and 1.5 million rounds of ammunition. 

Russia's First Deputy Representative to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, said that the escalation of the situation by the West should be blown away at some point, but the pumping of Ukraine with weapons will continue.
