"The consumption of automobile tires reflects the speed of economic development from another aspect. I have been selling tires in Guangxi for 26 years, and my business has further grown with the rapid development of the mainland economy." Taiwanese businessman Chen Hongyao said in an interview with reporters on the 20th. .

Chen Hongyao's father was a famous auto tire dealer in Taiwan.

Chen Hongyao came to Nanning, Guangxi in 1997 to develop and became the agent of Taiwan Zhengxin Tire in Guangxi.

"Because the climate of Guangxi is similar to that of Taiwan, I chose Guangxi." Chen Hongyao said.

This choice affected his later life. At 52 years old this year, he stayed in Guangxi for half of his life.

After working hard in Nanning for 26 years, he bought a house there, and the company's factory building was also bought with the money he earned from his years of hard work.

"My wife and two children also came to Nanning to live in 2008. The family of four stayed in Guangxi this year to celebrate the New Year and experience the special flavor of Zhuang Township." Chen Hongyao said.

After working hard in Guangxi for so many years, the most difficult period for Chen Hongyao was in 2008 and 2009. At that time, he encountered the global financial crisis, and the company's business was just in a period of rapid growth. The demand for funds was very urgent, but the company had no accumulation of funds and no assets. Unable to finance efficiently.

"Fortunately, there is no such thing as a perfect road. The company is fortunate to gain the trust and support of channel customers and is willing to pay in advance, which effectively solves the company's urgent needs and overcomes the biggest hurdle on the road to entrepreneurship." Chen Hongyao said.

In the past 26 years of hard work, Chen Hongyao's greatest achievement was to break away from his father's halo.

"I am the least educated among the three brothers in my family. Both of my brothers graduated from graduate school and both stayed in Taiwan to work. But my dad said that I was the most successful one in the family." Chen Hongyao said.

Chen Hongyao said that his company is the first Taiwan-funded enterprise to settle in Zhongmeng Industrial Park, Yongning District, Nanning City. The output value of the first year of settlement reached 60 million yuan (RMB, the same below). 100 million yuan.

Chen Hongyao said that his business has grown in recent years, thanks to the rapid development of Guangxi's economy and the changes in Guangxi's locational advantages. First, the China-ASEAN Expo was settled in Nanning, Guangxi, and then there was the "blessing" of the construction of the new western land-sea corridor. Nanning has become an important node city of the new land-sea passage in the west. This change has made Nanning's logistics flow larger and larger, driving tire sales.

"In the past few years, the mainland has changed too fast, and new business formats have emerged one after another. We Taiwanese businessmen have a sense of crisis. Only by constantly learning can we keep up with the development of the mainland." Chen Hongyao said.

He suggested that if Taiwanese want to start a business in Guangxi, they must first familiarize themselves with the environment here and do research before deciding to invest.

In addition to his career success, what Chen Hongyao most wants to share with Taiwanese businessmen and compatriots is that their two children have successfully been admitted to the most ideal universities in the mainland.

Now the eldest daughter has graduated from Central South University, and the son is studying at Fuzhou University in Fujian.

Chen Hongyao's daughter Chen Yingting was not used to it when she first came to Nanning to study.

"Later I told her that if you want to develop well in the mainland in the future, you must work hard to overcome difficulties and stay." Chen Hongyao said.

In order to adapt to life in Nanning, Chen Yingting managed to integrate into the local culture and customs and learned the local accent.

"Back then, I gave up 'Little True Fortune'. When I came to the mainland, I not only achieved success in my career, but also allowed my two children to keep up with the development trend of the country. This is the right step." Chen Hongyao said.
