Acting Minister of Emergency Situations Chupriyan: more than 40,000 residents of Donbass arrived in Russia

“There was information that more than 40 thousand people were forced to leave the neighboring regions of Ukraine and arrived on Russian territory.

Now they are located mainly in the Rostov region, ”RIA Novosti quoted Chupriyan as saying.

He also specified that more than 2,000 refugees from the Rostov region were sent by train to the Voronezh and Kursk regions.

Earlier, Chupriyan said that in the Rostov region, refugees from the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR began to receive payments in the amount of 10 thousand rubles.

The press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry also reported that the evacuation of refugees from Donbass will be carried out around the clock.
