The Swedish Ambulance Flight Association's regulations state that you must "procure and coordinate air ambulance services", but instead of procuring an operator, Swedish Ambulance Flight decided to fly under its own auspices.

The decision was appealed by a private person to the Administrative Court in Umeå, which now revokes the decision as it is considered that it is contrary to the federal ordinance.

Revises its federal regulations

Vk.se writes that the Swedish Ambulance Flight Association's council decided on a revised federal order last week, which must now be approved by the council of all regions before it comes into force.

Swedish ambulance flights have started operations at Umeå Airport and at Landvetter, the base at Arlanda will open this week.
