After her round of meetings, Valérie Pécresse decided to come down from the stage.

His goal ?

Meet the French.

If the period is difficult for the LR candidate in the presidential election, she shows her determination.

This Thursday, she was back in her native lands in Vendée, supported by Senator Bruno Retailleau.

Less than two months before the presidential election, the candidates for the Élysée are heading into the home stretch.

And to pass the course of the second round, Valérie Pécresse decided to leave aside the meetings to go to meet the French.

The candidate recognizes a difficult period, but displays her determination in the campaigns.

"There are gusts of wind, but I am like a Vendée sailor", launched the LR candidate during a meeting in Mouilleron, in Vendée.

"When the wind is contrary, I continue and I do not deviate from my course."

In Mouilleron, the birthplace of Clémenceau, Valérie Pécresse declines her program in front of fishermen and farmers with a more fluid phrasing than usual and proposals on low wages, transmission or ecology.

The support of Bruno Retailleau on the Vendée lands

In Vendée, the candidate was more convincing than in a meeting and won the praise of Bruno Retailleau, senator for Vendée.

"The Vendée is a land of character and it is adversity that reveals the big players", declared the President of the LR group in the Senate.

"Clémenceau the tiger. Valérie Pécresse the tigress."

In 2017, the Vendée was shared between Emmanuel Macron and François Fillon, but Valérie Pécresse does not intend to cede this electorate to the Head of State.

It will be this Friday in the Alpes-Maritimes, historically on the right, but which could be tempted by Eric Zemmour or Marine Le Pen.
