When Jörgen and Agneta Bengtson were out hiking two years ago, they came to a large lake.

When the latter tried to find out what the lake was called, it was clear to them: the name was not on the map.

They heard from among acquaintances, and were then told that the lake arose in modern times in connection with a quarry.

Based on that, they then wrote to Lantmäteriet and briefly suggested the name "Stenbrottssjön".

- Then it took almost two years, then Lantmäteriet heard from him and said: "yes, it was a good name, now it is officially called Stenbrottssjön", says Jörgen Bengtson (C).

Hear Jörgen Bengtsson and Lantmäteriet talk about the unusual naming in the clip above.
