China News Service, February 18 (AFP) According to Agence France-Presse, the Greek port police said that on the 18th local time, an Italian-flagged cruise ship caught fire as it sailed in the Ionian Sea.

So far, no casualties have been reported.

  According to reports, the cruise ship, named "Euroferry Olympia", was carrying 237 passengers and 51 crew members and was scheduled to sail from the Greek city of Igomenica to Italy.

  Greek police said three tugboats and three patrol boats had been dispatched to the rescue.

  There are no reports of casualties so far, the report said.

The Greek Coast Guard also pointed out that the cause of the fire is not yet known and an investigation has been launched.
