According to the survey, around eight newly arrived adults and 16-22 children have moved to Fagersta from Nacka and another municipality in the Stockholm area.

Nacka's municipal councilor Filip Wiljander (M) does not share the image that it would be about social dumping.

- It is true that some have been assigned to Nacka municipality, but have moved to Fagersta.

However, it is not true that it is the municipalities that have made contact with the housing company, but it is the families themselves who have found housing, he says.

According to the law, the establishment period is two years and it is the municipalities' responsibility to provide housing during this period.

Filip Wiljander does not feel that new arrivals need to have priority for municipal housing after the establishment period.

- One would extend the establishment period from the current two years to at least five years, because it takes different lengths of time for people to establish themselves in society, says Marino Wallstens (S).
