After controlling the fire, the burnt-out truck had to be evacuated with suitable cranes and operations were still in progress at 10:30 a.m.

“At the same time, our teams, accompanied by the police, are in the process of evacuating vehicles stuck in traffic jams, explains Vinci Autoroute.

For all vehicles, entry remains prohibited at Saint-Jean-de-Luz Sud (n° 2).

Vinci Autoroute estimates that the return to normal will take place in the early evening.
