In terms of the whole country, electric cars have increased by 98 percent in 2021. Örebro County has the largest increase, with 127 percent more electric cars.
Across Sweden, the number of electric cars amounted to 110,177, which means a doubling from 2020.
- The rate of increase is fast, this is the third year in a row we see a doubling of the number of electric cars in traffic, says Jonas Ingman, statistician at Trafikanalys.
