Gd.se was the first to tell.

In November last year, the spider was found at Sandvik's truck and crane school in Sandviken.

Later it was also found at Göranssonska school and at Sandvik Coromant GUS.

What was not known then was whether it was a harmless southern European variety or the more poisonous Chilean one.

It turned out to be the latter - Loxosceles laeta.

- It probably came with some form of import shipment.

It is not unusual for different forms of animals and insects to follow in that way, says Håkan Kjellberg, pest expert at Anticimex.

Hear him tell you more about the spider in the video above.
