A man in his sixties died on Wednesday in the town of Saint-Vaast-de-Longmont (Oise).
He was with his brother on private land to cut trees when one of them fell on him, reports Actu Oise.
According to Dominique Verdu, first deputy mayor interviewed by Oise Hebdo, the duo wanted to straighten a tree that was leaning over a garden shed.

But the firefighters took five hours to reach the victim who could not be revived.
