Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokong held a press conference, saying that there were concerns about the ongoing violence in Myanmar at the foreign ministers' meeting, and ASEAN was violent against the army in power. He said he confirmed that he urged him to fulfill the five agreed items, including immediate suspension and acceptance of special envoys.

He also announced that he plans to visit Myanmar next month as a special envoy of ASEAN.

"It takes time to reach out to all powers," he said, showing the idea of prioritizing working with the military and stressing that he is also looking for ways to achieve dialogue with pro-democracy.
