- There have been days when close to the booklets of the school's students were absent.
And we believe that it is important to offer students an opportunity to compete, says Roland Hybelius, head of education in Borgholm.
"Fantastic opportunity"
Hampus Andersson is in ninth grade and is one of the students who will go to law school next week, even though it is a sports holiday.
- I think it is a fantastic opportunity, especially for us nines who make the final sprint now that the national tests are coming and it is time for us to choose high school, he says.
Introduced on all school holidays
Borgholm municipality will offer holiday school not only during the sports holiday, but all school holidays in 2022: Also Easter holidays and autumn holidays.
- Three days a week during the holidays, we have decided to offer law school to support our students, says Roland Hybelius.
- We do this for our young people, for our students and for their future.
Because this is their future this is about, he says.
But it's still sports holiday next week. And some may want to travel away, how do you see that?
- I really like to stay in Borgholm, I do not like to travel away and so on.
So then I can just as easily stay and go to law school, says Hedda Insulander.
