In accordance with the law, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality takes many measures against those neglected buildings, noting that inhabited buildings that distort the general appearance and are subject to maintenance and rehabilitation, their owners are made aware of the importance and necessity of maintaining them, and in the event that the owners do not respond, a month’s legal notification is given to give the opportunity to review the municipality and correct the building’s situation before issuing Any administrative decision regarding the building.

After the deadline expires, the sub-municipal center will transfer the building to the Abandoned Building Inspection Committee to study the condition of the building and issue the appropriate decision.
