The official spokesman for the Jordanian government, Faisal Shboul, announced that the implementation of mitigating measures to combat the Corona pandemic will begin on the first of next March.

He explained during a press conference today, Thursday, the details of which were published by a number of local newspapers, that the procedures will be applied successively and according to the epidemiological situation, which is the beginning of a series of procedures and not the only one, stressing the continuation of defense orders.

The spokesman indicated that the mitigating measures will include reducing the period of sanitary isolation, canceling the PCR examination requirement for those coming from abroad to Jordan, as well as at parties, and canceling the stone of contacts.

Al-Shboul said that the mitigating measures came based on the recommendation of the National Committee to Combat Epidemics, stressing once again that the pandemic is not over, and any decisions taken will be related to the developments of the epidemiological situation.

Finally, he showed that the government possesses 3 weapons in the face of the epidemic, the most important of which are vaccination, and the personal responsibility of the citizen by his commitment to the muzzle and distance.

He pointed out that the capabilities of the health sector in Jordan have been tripled, and Jordanian expertise has been created to confront the epidemic.
