Gunshots and explosions were heard last night in Mogasdicio, the Somali capital.
These are simultaneous attacks that were carried out by the jihadist group of Shebabs.
In particular, a police station was targeted and destroyed.

The attackers were eventually repelled, but these attacks come as the political situation in Somalia is still fragile.
In addition to the political crisis and the laborious electoral process
that the country is going through, the inhabitants of Mogadishu must therefore also reckon with
terrorist violence.
An unprecedented scale
During the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, around 1 a.m., an attack of unprecedented scale hit the capital.
Commandos simultaneously attacked at least two northern and southern districts of the city, Kahda and Dar-el-Salam.
In Kahda, a car bomb was launched against the police station, which was completely destroyed, as well as civilian houses in the vicinity, according to photos released on Wednesday.
Residents of both neighborhoods reported fierce small-arms fighting during the night for about 30 minutes, after which the attackers fled.
Terrorist violence does not stop
On Wednesday, calm returned.
And this morning, the shebabs claimed responsibility for these attacks, saying they had attacked six different places in the capital.
Police reported several deaths, including children.
But this assessment is still provisional.
Terrorist violence does not cease in Somalia.
A month ago, the government spokesman was injured in a suicide attack.
Then a week later, a suicide bomber blew himself up at a busy city intersection, killing three people with him.
