There may be a lot of snow on Wednesday afternoon and towards evening the snowfall is expected to intensify further.
- It looks like there will be around 10-20 cm of fresh snow in the southernmost parts of Västerbotten and that in combination with onshore winds makes it most difficult along the coast, says SVT's meteorologist Maria Augutis.
In Västernorrland there may be even more snow, upwards of 30 cm locally along the coast.
Strong winds along the coast
The wind will increase on Wednesday and later in the evening there may be strong gusts along the coast.
- It can lead to poor visibility, snow drifts and drift formation.
My advice if you are going into traffic is to be on your guard - slow down and increase the distance to fellow road users and keep an eye out if there are delays in public transport.
The warning is valid until Thursday morning.
However, the snowfall is expected to continue on Thursday, but not with the same intensity.
