In the past year, Linköping has been hit by several shootings and murders.
Several of the incidents have occurred in the Skäggetorp district, which is classified by the police as particularly vulnerable.
At the beginning of the year, bullet holes were found in the building of a preschool in the district and staff experience insecurity.
Today, Linköping Municipality presented a year-round package to increase security.
- It has been built on over time.
It is not exactly that incident but it has escalated over a long period of time both in society in general and in Skäggetorp that affects our operations, says Linda Östergaard.
But the municipality is careful to point out that there is no threat to the preschool activities per se in the area.
