“The Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center (EADRCC) received on February 15 a request for international assistance from Ukraine,” TASS reports.
It also notes that the State Emergency Service of Ukraine is preparing for large-scale emergencies of a different nature that may affect the civilian population.
Earlier, the People's Militia of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic announced the delivery of NATO-style mortars and ammunition by Kiev to the Donbass.
Prior to this, Stanislav Gadzhimagomedov, Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, reported that Western countries were provoking Ukraine into a scenario of establishing control over the Donbass and Crimea by force.
