It was during the past weekend that two men were arrested with 40 kilos of cannabis in their luggage at the train station in Luleå.
The duo, who are 18 and 19 years old, were arrested after the incident on suspicion of a serious drug crime.
The huge seizure is valued at around four million kronor on the street, according to Norr Media.
"Will be requested to be detained"
Prosecutor Rickard Finnberg is handling the case.
- Two younger men have been arrested for a serious drug offense.
This is one of the larger seizures of cannabis that took place in Norrbotten.
They will be requested to be detained, says prosecutor Rickard Finnberg and continues:
- I will not go into what they said in interrogation or what the police have for investigative measures.
The men are suspected of the crime for probable cause.
