Punch on the table.

Pablo Casado has taught Vox the "limits" of the PP to reach an agreement in Castilla y León.

And he has done so with a forceful and frontal speech against "populism" and "radicalism", comparable in its harshness and relevance to the one he delivered in the Congress of Deputies in the motion of censure headed by Santiago Abascal.

"We have limits to agree and agree. Our principles are our conditions. And we are not going to renounce them. Never," stressed the president of the PP at a meeting of the National Executive Committee, this Tuesday, with the presence of Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, the majority of

popular

barons (except Juanma Moreno) and the party's top staff.

"Whoever wants to agree with us will have to accept and respect them, as always," said Casado, because "politics without principles can only lead to an uncertain end."

The president of the PP has blessed Mañueco's ambition to have a "strong, stable and solitary" government, but has not clarified what the exact formula would be to achieve it.

Well, the 31 seats of the PP leave 10 of the absolute majority, and there are only two parties whose votes add up to reach: the PSOE and Vox.

Ignore Sánchez's words

He has said nothing about the socialists, despite Pedro Sánchez's proposal to break the pacts with Vox throughout Spain in order to understand each other in Castilla y León.

The leader of the PP has ignored that offer and has focused his speech in two parts: one to optimistically vindicate his political project and the other to charge emphatically against Vox.

Casado has said that the PP wants a government alone, "with firm pillars, without borrowed suits and without the continuous sword of Damocles."

"And he has our full support to carry it forward, with our principles always present."
