The Ministry of Ecology and Environment's report on the national ambient air quality shows that in January, among the 168 key cities, 20 cities including Lhasa, Haikou, Kunming, Guiyang, Zhoushan, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Zhangjiakou, Huizhou, Shenzhen, and Beijing had relatively good air quality. ; Jiaozuo, Heze, Urumqi, Luohe, Pingdingshan, Kaifeng, Harbin, Nanyang, Xianyang, Hebi and other 20 cities have relatively poor air quality.
In January, the average number of days with good quality in "2+26" cities in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and surrounding areas was 42.3%, a year-on-year decrease of 7.1 percentage points; the concentration of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) was 87 micrograms per cubic meter, a year-on-year increase of 20.8%; ozone The concentration was 73 micrograms per cubic meter, a year-on-year decrease of 1.4%.
The proportion of good days in January in Beijing was 83.9%, and the PM2.5 concentration was 45 micrograms per cubic meter, an increase of 18.4% year-on-year.
In January, the average number of days with good air quality in 339 cities at the prefecture level and above was 73.4%, the average PM2.5 concentration was 56 micrograms per cubic meter, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%; the average concentration of inhalable particulate matter (PM10) was 56 micrograms per cubic meter. 76 micrograms, a year-on-year decrease of 14.6%.
Liu Youbin, a spokesman for the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, told reporters that in 2021, the ratio of good days in cities at the prefecture level and above nationwide will be 87.5%, a year-on-year increase of 0.5 percentage points; the PM2.5 concentration will be 30 micrograms per cubic meter, a year-on-year decrease of 9.1%.
