When SVT Nyheter Jämtland was on site in Storlien on Saturday, several Norwegians testified that they had not been here for several months, or in some cases a couple of years.

The fact that the border restrictions are now gone has meant that more Norwegians have found their way back, but it is not directly a matter of opening a dam door.

- When Sweden removed the requirement for PCR testing, we saw an increase, but now it is not as clear.

I think it will take some time, maybe until spring, before we are completely back.

The Norwegian sports holiday starts this weekend, so then we will probably get a better picture of where we are going, says Henrik Weile, supermarket manager at Coop in Storlien.
