“In order to strengthen mutual trust, an agreement was reached on the visit of the defense attache of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine to the events of the Metel-2022 exercises, as well as on the visit of the defense attache of Ukraine to the Republic of Belarus to the events of the Belarusian-Russian exercises “Allied Resolve-2022” ”, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
Earlier it became known about the start of joint exercises of Russian and Belarusian military personnel "Allied Resolve".
As part of the activities, maneuvers will be carried out to work out the tasks "to suppress and repel external aggression in the course of a defensive operation, as well as counter terrorism and protect the interests of the Union State."
Allied Resolve 2022 exercises are being held from 10 to 20 February.
