Ever since Adam and Eve, the apple has been the symbol of love… As for the toffee apple, it above all evokes the carnival.
This preparation, which has contributed to the fortune of certain dentists, was born in New Jersey at the beginning of the 20th century.
We owe it to a confectioner, William Kolb, who prepared sweets and had the idea of dipping an apple in the caramel preparation.
The name comes from the tomato that was called "apple of love" and which this sugar-coated apple resembles.

Ingredients :
4 apples (pink lady type)
200 g of chocolate
10 g of butter
Hazelnut
Place the apples for 15 min in an oven at 150) to "fatigue" them
Melt the chocolate with the butter
