Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung and People's Strength candidate Yoon Seok-yeol made their first pledge to overcome the corona virus.

Justice Party candidate Shim Sang-jung put the transition to a carbon-free society, and People's Party candidate Ahn Cheol-soo put the new growth strategy ahead.

The order was different, but there were more similarities than differences, the promises of the four candidates.

All emphasized overcoming the corona crisis and compensation for losses to small business owners and the self-employed, and promised to expand various welfare benefits such as support for young people and strengthening childcare support.

They also made promises to expand the supply of housing.

However, while Candidates Yoon and Ahn, who promised to supply 2.5 million units nationwide within their term of office, promised a mass supply of a mix of general and public housing, Lee said they would supply 1.4 million units of basic housing, and Shim wanted 20% of public housing. I put a little more emphasis on 'publicity' while putting it in the forefront.

In response to the climate crisis and diplomatic and security pledges, there was a relatively marked difference in positions.

Candidates Lee and Shim emphasized the expansion of new and renewable energy by 2030, and Candidates Yoon and Ahn strengthened support for nuclear power generation.

While Candidate Lee emphasized pragmatic diplomacy centered on the national interest, Candidate Yoon pledged to deploy additional THAAD, and Candidate Ahn pledged to complete a Korean-style missile defense system.

In the political reform plan, Candidate Lee proposed a four-year term as president, and Candidate Yoon proposed a relocation of the presidential office.

Each of them also included their proprietary patent promises: Candidate Lee proposed a national basic income of 1 million won per year, Candidate Yoon proposed the abolition of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, Candidate Shim proposed a four-day week system, and Candidate Ahn proposed the integration of public pensions.
