Lavrov will hold talks with Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Pay, who will arrive in Russia on a visit as OSCE Chairman-in-Office.
The sides will discuss ways to improve the effectiveness of the OSCE and exchange views on the state of the European security architecture.
Earlier, the OSCE confirmed holding consultations of members of the OSCE Vienna Document on Confidence and Security Building Measures on 15 February.
Russia will not take part in the OSCE meeting.
