Kuwait announces the return of the ranks in mosques and allowing travel for all

Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah announced the country's success in overcoming the new wave of the Corona epidemic and canceling many restrictions imposed to confront it.

Al-Sabah said in a press conference broadcast on Kuwaiti state TV: "The alignment of classes in mosques will return, malls will be opened for everyone, students will attend schools without a PCR test, travel will be allowed for all, as well as the examination will be canceled for travelers returning to the country."

For his part, Kuwaiti government spokesman Tariq Al-Muzaram announced in the press conference that non-vaccinated people will be allowed to travel and enter commercial complexes, as well as enter closed places such as theaters, cinemas and concert halls, provided that an examination confirms that they are free of the virus 72 hours before at most.

Al-Muzaram confirmed that work in government departments will be allowed to return to full capacity, starting from the third of March.

The Prime Minister said: "These decisions do not mean the end of the necessary personal precautionary measures, especially wearing a mask."

The daily injuries recorded in Kuwait decreased sharply during the last ten days and reached today to 2,562 cases, compared to the highest peak ever recorded in Kuwait on January 28, with 6,913 injuries.

The total recorded injuries in Kuwait since the beginning of the pandemic amounted to 603,869, while the number of deaths reached 2,521 deaths, or 0.42% of the total injuries.
