The Vox candidate for the presidency of Castilla y León, Juan García-Gallardo, has been clear this Monday: "We are not going to abstain. We are not going to give the votes away to the PP. We said it in the campaign and we are not like Pedro Sánchez, what we commit to in the campaign we maintain. We will not be anyone's crutch".

In a press conference, García-Gallardo made his principles clear.

"We are neither more nor less than others. Others with less have been in the Government", in reference to Ciudadanos and its participation in the autonomous executive.

The president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, in his first words after election day, opted for García-Gallardo as vice president of the Board.

This Monday, his candidate reiterated the message: "I am not going to give away the votes to anyone."

"The result of the elections is clear. We have the right and the duty to join the next government," he said.

The Vox candidate did not rule out the possibility of a rapprochement between the PP and the PSOE, "it will be the responsibility of the PP."

During the press conference, García Gallardo assured that he had not yet called Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, "I think he wants to call the PSOE first", he said.

But that when this rapprochement occurs, "first policies and then we will talk about the charges. And first, repeal left-wing legislation and lower taxes."

Mañueco, "tied hand and foot"

He announced that Vox will maintain contacts with all the provincial platforms, "even those that have not obtained representation, to collect their fair demands at the negotiating table."

García-Gallardo, a political novice in his early 30s, took out his new stripes and made it clear that he will lead the Vox negotiating committee and that it will be discussed in Castilla y León.

In this sense, he slipped criticism towards the messages that are coming from the

popular

ranks , both from Mañueco and from Genoa.

"We have serious concern that the PP of Castilla y León may be tied hand and foot by Genoa or Brussels."

The Vox candidate lashed out harshly at "the

on the left and on the right."

"This is a problem for democracy. The polls have tried to condition the results."
