Come along to the Spanish "ghost town"

It is a period of severe drought that has caused the water reservoir Alto Lindoso to shrink sharply and the small village of Aceredo exposed.

For three decades it has been under water - now many curious people are drawn to the place.

- Tourism is welcome as long as people use common sense.

They must understand that this place is under water most of the year and that the buildings are unstable, says Maria del Carmen Yanez, mayor of the nearby municipality of Lobios.
