The head of the DPR Denis Pushilin told RT about this.

“First of all, we rely on our own strength, and that is why, especially in the recent period of time, we have stepped up our work in terms of exercises, we are taking much more measures to coordinate the unit, to interact with various relevant departments, to work with emergency services, to work so that the territorial defense, and this includes a whole range of measures related to the evacuation from certain areas along the line of contact,” he said.

This work of emergency services and "a host of other activities" allow us to say that, in general, the authorities are "ready for the offensive."

At the same time, the DPR understands that with the number of weapons and mercenaries “that are on the territory of Ukraine, even on the territory of Donbass” controlled by Kiev, the situation can “go along a very difficult trajectory.”

“And we, of course, will respond based on the situation, but we do not rule out turning to the Russian Federation for help,” Pushilin added.

According to the estimates of the People's Militia of the DPR, the number of Ukrainian military near the line of contact in the Donbass can reach 150 thousand people.
