Foreign ministers' talks were held between Japan, the United States, and South Korea.

At the meeting, it seems that they confirmed the cooperation for the implementation of the UN Security Council resolution over the response to North Korea, which has repeatedly launched ballistic missiles.

Foreign Minister Hayashi, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and South Korean Foreign Minister Chung Eui-yong held a three-country foreign ministers' meeting in Hawaii, USA, about two hours after 9:30 am Japan time.

The foreign ministers' meeting between Japan, the United States and South Korea has been held since September last year.

As North Korea repeatedly launches ballistic missiles, suggesting consideration of reviewing the ICBM = intercontinental ballistic missile launch test and the suspension of nuclear tests, the talks will discuss future measures and implement or complete the UN Security Council resolution. It seems that we have confirmed the cooperation for denuclearization.

Minister Hayashi also seems to have called for understanding and cooperation for the early resolution of the abduction issue.

In addition, it seems that they exchanged opinions on international issues such as the response to China, which is strengthening its supremacy, measures against the new coronavirus, and climate change.
