The Indian alternative rock band, Elephants, created the Jubilee Theater at Expo 2020 Dubai, the day before yesterday, as it presented a group of its most beautiful songs in front of a large audience.

Formed in the Indian state of Kerala, Elephants are known for their "Malayalam" songs, and pioneered the so-called "Malayalam alternative rock", a style that combines Malayalam lyrics and rock music.

The album, which bore the band's name, won six of the seven Jack Daniel's Rock Awards.

Lead singer Tony John said, "Before we launched Elephants, we were part of different bands, we used to sing in English, and one fine day we decided to sing in our mother tongue, and we thought that we would communicate more with people."

Guitarist Rex Vijayan emphasized, “We speak Malayalam every day, so when we suddenly sang in English it was strange, singing in (Malayalam) was very natural.

By doing this I believe we have tied the older and younger generation together.”
