On the 13th, presidential candidate Ahn Cheol-soo of the People's Party said, "I have nothing more to say" in relation to the fact that the People's Power had virtually rejected his proposal to unify his 'opinion poll contest'.

Candidate Ahn said in a phone call with Yonhap News on the same day, "What if this doesn't happen here, and there is no such scenario at all, and now it's the people's turn to answer."

At a press conference this morning, Candidate Ahn proposed to the People's Power candidate Yoon Seok-yeol the unification of the 'People's Primary Opinion Poll' in the same way as in the April 7 Seoul mayor by-election.

However, the People's Power has virtually rejected the 'unification of public opinion polls', citing the possibility of adverse selection.

Candidate Yoon mentioned, "I'll think about it, but there are things I regret."

Regarding this, Candidate Ahn said, "This is the only suggestion I can make."

It is interpreted that he expressed his intention that he could not back down from the unification of the polling method.

Regarding the concerns about 'adverse selection' raised by the People's Power, he said, "There is a greater risk that I will be adversely selected. It is beneficial to them,” he countered.
