Just over a year ago, the now 16-year-old Landskrona resident started training hard to fulfill his dream.
- I want to be the strongest in the whole world, says Tofan Serin Batak.
Today, a year later, he has come a long way and says that in five years he will be the strongest in Sweden.
- Tofan's grandmother and I noticed how strong he was already when he was little.
He used to help us carry heavy food bags after every time we shopped, says Tofan's mother, Gulistan Batak.

Hate speech along the way
Many follow Tofa's training journey on social media and in some cities he is now recognized by young people who come to greet or take pictures with him.
But the road has not always been easy for him.
- Many question that I am only 16 years old and can lift so much, says Tofan Serin Batak.
At the same time, he has experienced racism in the form of discrimination and hate speech on social media platforms.
